The Florissant Performing Arts center opened in October 1972 under the name Florissant Civic Center Theatre. Home to two outstanding community theater companies, The Alpha Players and The Hawthorne Players, as well as several dance companies, community bands and non-profit organizations, the FloPAC seats 543 in a proscenium style theater. For those 21 and up, please enjoy a drink from our bar. Whether you're looking to be part of a performance or be an audience member, the Florissant Performing Arts Center has something for everyone.

Our award winning staff is comprised of professional artists from all across the local St. Louis community, including many who live right here in Florissant. They're a dedicated team of public servants focused on supporting the live performing arts.

  • Where do I park?
    We have ample parking surrounding the building. Parking is free. If needed, you may drop off persons at the front drive and then park your vehicle.
  • Can I get a refund?
    We do not process refunds without the consent of the rental organization from whom you've purchased tickets. If you are interested in a refund, please contact the rental group. If you need assistance with contact information, please call the box office at 314-921-5678. We do not refund convenience or transaction fees. The City of Florissant maintains a no refunds policy.
  • Can I bring my own drinks to the summer concerts?
    Yes. You may bring your own drinks into the park to enjoy at the concerts. Please be responsible and dispose of your trash in the provided receptacles or take it with you. No glass is allowed in the park. Don't forget your lawn chair!
  • Where do I get tickets?
    Tickets may be purchased online 24/7 right HERE. Scan down the page to the particular performance you're looking for and select 'Buy Tickets'. The Box Office is open M-F 9a to 5p and can be reached by phone at 314-921-5678. If you are buying tickets for a dance school's recital, please note, if it is not listed on our page at Florissantpac.com then the school is handling their own tickets and you should call that studio.
  • How many seats do you have?
    We seat 543. If you choose to sit closer to the stage in the side sections, typically rows B through E, you may have an obstructed view depending on the scenery on stage.
  • What do the seats look like?
  • Is the theatre handicap accessible?
    Yes. We have ramps from our parking lot all the way into the theatre for those with limited mobility. We also have ADA accessible seating available at the back of the auditorium.
  • Do you have a seating chart?
  • Are the shows family friendly?
    Some shows contain mature content. If you are unsure of the subject matter or are not familiar with the show, please call the box office to inquire at 314-921-5678. All of our St. Louis Family Theatre performances are approved for all ages.
  • Where are the summer concerts?
    The Music Under the Stars Concert Series is held in St. Ferdinand Park located off Lindbergh Blvd. The park address is 25 St. Ferdinand Dr. You'll drive to the rear of the park behind the baseball fields and park. The stage is set up facing the large hill next to the pond. Food trucks are available.
  • Do you sell concessions?
    We have a wine and beer bar available to those 21 years and older. We also have bottles of water available. The bar is open for most shows. Cards and cash are accepted.
  • Does everyone need a ticket?
    Yes, everyone entering the theatre needs a ticket. We do not recommend bringing those 3 years and younger into the theatre except for the public St. Louis Family Theatre Shows.
  • Do you allow late seating?
    Latecomers will be seated at ushers/staff discretion. Please be patient as to not disrupt the performance. We highly encourage you make every attempt to arrive early.
  • Do you have group rates?
    Each community presenter sets their own ticket prices and types. Depending on the show, there may be group rates available. If there are group rates, they are listed on the Shows/Tickets tab located in the menu at the top of this page. To get the group rate pricing, you will need to call the Box Office at 314-921-5678. Group rates are not currently available online.
  • What size are the chairs?
    Our chairs range in size from 18 inches wide to 21 inches wide. The side sections of seats typically have the wider seats. If you require a wider chair, please choose an ADA seat.
  • What fees do you charge?
    If you purchase tickets online, you will pay a convenience fee per ticket as well as a single transaction fee. Whether you are buying in person or over the phone, any time you use a credit/debit card you will be subject to a single transaction fee per purchase. Cash and checks are accepted in person with no fees.
  • Where is the Florissant Performing Arts Center?
    We are next to the James J. Eagan Civic Center located at 1 James J. Eagan Dr. Florissant, Mo 63033. The building is located at the corner of Parker Rd. and Waterford Dr.
  • Do you have hearing assist available?
    Yes. We have several hearing assist devices that are free to use. Please ask a staff member at the box office for a device. For those that are able, we can connect your personal hearing assist device with prior notification. We ask for at least one days notice to accommodate this request.
  • Do you sell season tickets?
    Our community presenters sell season tickets to their shows. You can find information at their websites. alphaplayers.org and hawthorneplayers.com
